Uncommon Grounds Enterprises, Inc. (“Uncommon Grounds”) respects your privacy and recognizes the importance of protecting your personally-identifiable information. As a result, Uncommon Grounds has created this privacy policy to inform you of (i) the information that we collect from you and (ii) our use of that information. This privacy policy only applies to transactions and activities in which you engage, and the data collected, on the Dishes® website (the “Site”), and does not apply to any other website or offline point of contact between Uncommon Grounds or any other person and you.
In order to operate the Site, process your order(s) and provide you with information on products and services that may be of interest to you, we may collect personal information (e.g., information that could be used to contact you such as your name, postal address, billing address, delivery address, phone number and email address), financial information (e.g., credit card numbers and credit card expiration dates), demographic information (e.g., zip codes, hometowns, gender, age and purchase history information), and the like.
We use that information to help us process your order(s) on the Site, to contact you when necessary in connection with your order(s), and to send you information, offers and other promotional materials for our or third parties’ goods and services. We carefully select the information that we send to you and attempt to send to you only offers that we believe may be of interest to you, such as discounts, exclusive offers or information regarding special events. The Site provides you with an option of declining to receive these types of communications from us by “opting-out”. To “opt-out,” simply (i) login to your account on the Site and change your preferences, or (ii) login to your account on the Site, select “Contact Us”, and request that your name be removed from our mailing list.
In addition, Uncommon Grounds may use “cookies” to recognize you as a returning user and, if you choose, to save your password and other personal, financial and demographic information about you so you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the Site. We may also use “cookies” to keep track of your order(s) and other activity on the Site and to help us develop and customize the Site to better meet your needs and preferences.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Uncommon Grounds does not knowingly collect information from children. We ask parents or legal guardians to assist us by supervising the activities of children at the Site. The Site is intended for use only by adults (i.e., persons over the age of eighteen (18)).
Uncommon Grounds uses commercially reasonable safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of your personal information. In connection with the operation of the Site, however, we may share such personal information with our agents, contractors, service providers (e.g., banks and credit card processing companies) and contract vendors (e.g., the restaurants providing the food, beverage and other goods and services to process your order(s)), who may in turn disclose such information to third parties such as banks and credit card processing companies to fill your order. All of such third parties to whom Uncommon Grounds makes disclosure are authorized to use your personal information in accordance with our contractual arrangements with them and in accordance with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control.
Uncommon Grounds cannot and does not, however, make any guarantees with respect to the actions or privacy policies of such third parties and you agree by your use of the Site that Uncommon Grounds is not, and shall not be, responsible for any actions or omissions of such third parties.
